Rachel takes out the envelope of the left over money, and takes out $35, instead of just $25. She wanted to make sure Finn was satisfied with enough candy, and she was sure that Puck can manage with the leftover $40.

Rachel turns around and announces to the Glee Kids, "Guys! We can only spend $35! If you have your own money, you can use that to pay for more candy." She was sure that she sounded like Mr Schue giving orders.

Quinn walked over to the first asile, she picked up a hersheys almond bar and went to the counter, pulled out her wallet and payed for it herself. She wanted Finn to use the money for the candy.

Kurt sat in a pile of peppermints. He loved mint. He grinned and unwrapped four, popping all of them in his mouth at the same time so he looked like a chubby cheeked chipmunk.
