Rachel gave Jesse a long lecture about how to treat a girl, and what he's doing to Brittany. She hoped that he was annoyed because that was his punishment. She walked back to the Glee table, angry. She saw that Finn had already finished hogging the dessert table, and walked over to the dessert table and grabbed a cupcake, she wondered whether to throw it or not.

Rachel looked at the cupcake and took a bite out of it since it looked pretty good, which it was. She didn't blame Finn for staying here at the dessert table. Everyone looked like they were enjoying Kurt and Sam's dancing, so she thought that it would be safe to throw the cupcake since there weren't many witnesses. She threw the cupcake and it hit Jesse perfectly on the forehead. She clapped in victory and walked back to the Glee table and sat down, proud of herself.

Brittany's jaw dropped. Rachel had some serious guts! Even though she was mad at him, she quickly stood up, taking a napkin with her, and walked over to him. Brittany could tell he was in shock that Rachel had the nerve to do that to him. She gently began wiping the icing off his forehead. Sure, he deserved it, but she couldn't be walking around with someone who looked like Betty Crocker went on an angry rampage.

Rachel saw Brittany help Jesse clean up, which confused her. She thought Brittany hated Jesse now. But, Brittany probably wasn't smart enough to realize that he did something to her that's worth hating him for. She just sighed, and looked at Finn, which made her smile again.
