Telling her dads about the concert

Rachel walked over to her dads.

"Hi Dad. Hi Dad. I have wonderful news!"

Her dads looked at her attentively, waiting for the news.

Rachel just tells them before they plan on saying anything.

"New Directions is going to have a concert tomorrow night. You should buy tickets and come! We're doing this to raise money to help friends of ours pay for their own tickets to see 'Wicked'."

One of her dads spoke, "Okay we'll be there. How much is a ticket?"

Rachel hesitated. She didn't know the answer to that question.

So she texts Finn.

Finn, how much does
a ticket cost?

Finn was laying on his bed, looking at the ceiling when his phone buzzed.

Umm. I don't think it's been decided but I think it should be around ten dollars. The cost of a movie ticket, cuz we're like a movie, but not really.

Rachel sat on the couch with her dads looking at her when her phone buzzed. Rachel was relieved that it was Finn. She, then, reads the text.

Okay. Ten Dollars. Oh and
with our voices, it's going to
be better than a movie

Then she tells her dads that each ticket costs ten dollars. Her dads give her twenty dollars. She puts the twenty dollar bill in her pocket, not having the tickets with her at the moment. She promised her dads that she'll give them the tickets as soon as possible.

"Thank you!"
