Everyone at the table looked and Rachel and Kurt as they walked in.
Kurt smiled awkwardly and sat back down.
"I needed fresh air. They use too much air freshener in this place, and I don't want that smell to get embedded in the delicately porous material of my designer clothing. Anyway, yes, what did we miss?"

Kurt knew she was probably talking about Puck, but didn't want her to feel uncomfortable.
"Nothing is actually a very interesting subject. Like, what is nothing? What do you think of when you hear the word nothing? Endless white? Because that would be something, not nothing. It's probably endless clear. But if everything is clear, what does it look like? Since when something is clear, you see what's on the other side of it, but nothing would be on the other side of it."
Kurt was confusing even himself.

Rachel wonders who Quinn was looking at and found the bill next to Puck. She takes the bill, and sees how much the dinner cost. She takes out $200 from the envelope and puts it on top.
"Well we have seventy five dollars left..."
