PROM

[Jesse St. James]

After a moment of delay, Jesse lets out a frustrated shout. He had JUST gotten frosting out of his hair and now it was all over his tux. He glared at everyone and crossed his arms over his chest with a huff. "That was so not cool." he whined, while frantically trying to brush the frosting away and just spreading it more in the process.

[Rachel Berry ★]

Rachel looked at Quinn sympathetically.

"I'm sure he's in the bathroom or something... he'll be back soon..." I hope...

Then she looked at Jesse St James, who had a face that only meant that he was annoyed. She saw him unsuccessfully try to take the frosting off of him. She laughed softly, then stopped laughing after imagining Finn glaring at her from behind her. She was too scared to turn around to look at Finn, so she just looked around, like she was looking around for Puck too, just to ease the awkwardness.

[Brittany Pierce]

"Go back home and make out with your mom, or like, whatever you do, Jewfro." Brittany said, narrowing her eyes. "If I wasn't being rewarded for being like, amazing right now I'd totally like, kill you." She turned and picked up a napkin that was on a chair...it looked new...she gently started to take the icing off Jesse's suit. What was with everyone and throwing cupcakes at Jesse?

[Rachel Berry ★]

Rachel felt that her neck started to hurt from all the "looking around" so she just looked at Brittany and Jesse, even though it was a bad view, it was better than looking at Finn, who she still thought was glaring at her, and that thought was scary. What if I'm right? What if he is glaring at me?!

[Brittany Pierce]

Brittany finished dabbing off the frosting and smiled as the crown was placed on her head. She looked at Jesse and smiled even wider. She really didn't care how dumb she looked, grinning like an idiot.

[Jesse St. James]

Jesse sighed in relief as Brittany dabbed away all the frosting from his hair. He despised being in front of an audience and not looking his best. A satisfied smile crossed his face when he was crowned. No one was stopping him from being Prom King. His plan was going to be more easier than he anticipated it would be. He directed his smile to Brittany and turned it up full notch. With this idiot savant helping him out, he would definitely have no problem. He took her hand and pressed a kiss to it before leading her into the Prom King/Queen dance.

Rachel just looked at them and glared. His little ugly face said "yeah.. I'm going to break your heart soon....". It was just too obvious. She just crossed her arms, annoyed.

[Brittany Pierce]

Brittany bit her lip shyly and took Jesse's hand, before starting the Prom King/Queen dance with him.
"Everyone's watching," she whispered, and smiled again. If there was anything that she and Jesse had in common, it was that they both loved to be the center of attention. Especially when it wasn't for saying something dumb, like she had a tendency to do.

Rachel felt all "violent" again, and wanted to pour something liquid-ish so Brittany and Jesse would slip somehow. But it felt so mean, she didn't feel like she could handle it without wanting to apologize, which wasn't something you do after you do something mean on purpose. Quinn looked like someone who could do that kind of thing, but didn't feel like making her do every evil thing she can think of. She sighed, and started chewing on a cupcake, which seemed to, somehow, calm her down.

Finn watched Rachel purposely not turn around. He was really confused. Why had she just thrown it at him? Was she jealous of him Brittany?

"Umm.... Rach?"

Rachel turned around at Finn. Back to reality. Where Jesse was still alive.

"What?"

[Finn Hudson]

"Why is Brittany saying you threw a cupcake at Jesse? Why would you throw a cupcake at Jesse? I thought you were over him..." Finn asked confused and hurt.

[Rachel Berry ★]

Rachel just looked at him.

"I am over him... I just don't like him being here, in OUR school prom...", she said, and smiled, reassuring him.

[Finn Hudson]

"Oh... I guess that makes sense." Finn said, satisfied with the answer he got.

"Do you want to maybe dance or something?"
