Finn took a deep breathe. He had heard the band start playing and he knew that Faithfully was first on the set list. "You ready?" he asked Rachel.

Rachel smiled, and nodded. A stage worker gives her and Finn a microphone. She holds her microphone confidently, and waits for her turn to sing.

Finn takes a deep breathe, smiles at the glee club, and walks out. He sings his part without a problem, and waits for Rachel to sing her part.

Rachel walks over next to Finn while singing her part. The two of them singing was perfect. She immediately knew that people WILL leave donations. Their performance was worth more than just ten dollars.

As the song finished, Finn knew instantly that they had nailed it. Everyone else was on stage and the music changed to Anyway You Want It/ Lovin Touchin Squeezin.

Rachel loved this mash-up since it was very upbeat and it had very awesome choreography. She sang perfectly even though she had to dance at the same time.
Why didn't we charge more than ten dollars? We're worth more than that!

Kurt felt extremely energized singing with everyone. Having the bright lights in his face really set the emotion. He was dancin' like nobody's business.

Finn was having a great time on stage, dancing and singing with everybody. He tried extra hard and hoped people would leave big donations. Even if they didn't it wouldn't matter, he was having fun.

The regionals songs ended, and Rachel knew that Finn and Kurt's duet, 'Let it Be', was next. She hugged Finn for good luck and for comfort and then went backstage. She hoped that this was gonna go well, since they only practiced this song a few times and they never performed it in public.

Kurt breathed in a shivery breath. He saw two spotlights appear on the otherwise black stage. The song started with Kurt a capella, like in Across the Universe.
When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to me, speaking words of wisdom: let it be.
Kurt's voice shimmered and was full of unexplainable emotion. He closed his eyes as the music started, and then looked slowly over to Finn on the other side of the stage.

Jesse stood at the back of the crowd in the park, his arms loosely crossed over his chest as he took in the voices of his rivals. They were really getting good. It was inevitable that with Rachel and more training they could be in running with VA for first place at the next Sectionals. It certainly would just not do.
It was time for sabotage. And he knew that he could do that through Brittney, who was about as bright as the dark. To keep pretending to date her would be difficult, since he wasn't even interested in her. He was definitely going to ditch her after he crashed Mckinley's prom. Maybe he could try for all the weak links in New Directions and bring them down that way.
He focused back on the concert when he recognized the boy from the other day in the parking lot, singing pretty well, for a soprano. He was quite the spitfire, but Jesse decided that he was going to be his next target. If he could get Rachel to date him, he could get some gay kid to date him too. Oh, he was going to have lots of fun with this lot. None of them were going to see what was coming.

((Le Gasp! Jesse's evil plan!!!! Poor Brittany... but Rachel was right!)) Rachel listened to Kurt and Finn sing. They sounded better than 10 Jesse's singing, she was amazed. She instantly knew that this song had to be sang during Sectionals. That would give them a guaranteed win. Rachel smiles. She liked this idea.

Kurt saw Rachel smileat him in the wings, and that genuine acceptance, compared ot the glares she gave him the first time he sang that song, gave him energy and confidence.
