"Yeah!" Finn shouted and ran around. He jumped on his bed and kicked the pillows and blankets off. Finn laughed as he began to jump and dance around on his bed. He couldn't jump as high as he would have liked due to his height, his head would hit the ceiling.

Kurt watched Finn and Rachel quietly. The way he looked at her... like she was an angel or something. Finn never took his eyes off Rachel's face. It made Kurt's stomach tie up in knots. Why couldn't Finn look at Kurt like that? Kurt's mom had always told him that he looked like an angel, but Kurt never saw it.
He felt his eyes start to burn. Allowing himself to think of Finn and his mom, at the same time, was not a good idea, considering how easy it is to get Kurt emotional. Kurt blinked hard to prevent tears and then stared at his shiny loui vuitton boots.

Quinn laughed at Finn and Rachel. They were having so much fun. She wanted to talk to someone. She was getting kinda bored.

Kurt's stomach did another flip flop when Quinn said "You're so cute how you think you're funny." Kurt had thought that exact sentence about Finn so many times. Kurt's bottom lip trembled. He sat on his bed and hugged his knees to his chest.

Brittany stood up and walked away from the crowd, over to Kurt. She saw him looking upset. "Kurt, are you okay?" she said, crinkling her eyebrows sympathetically.

Then she sees Kurt all sad-looking, and walks over to him.
"What's wrong, Kurt?"
